A TRAIL THROUGH THE COLLECTIONS.
150 YEARS OF THE CITY OF LA LOUVIÈRE
From Wednesday 10 April to Sunday 3 November 2019, (re)discover the Keramis collections through the prism of a double anniversary: the 150th anniversary of the city of La Louvière and the 175th anniversary of the opening of the Boch faience factory.
To mark these two events, a trail has been designed to showcase the works acquired by the city of La Louvière and kept at Keramis, as well as particular creations made by the faience factory combining the city’s emblem of a Roman she-wolf and its coats of arms.
The trail is accompanied by a booklet issued free of charge at the reception desk.
Also on this occasion, an imposing bas-relief by the Belgian ceramicist Léon Empein, part of the city’s collection, is being exhibited at Keramis for the first time.
