Aimer collectionner la céramique contemporaine

For its new exhibition, Keramis invites you to discover two remarkable collections, united by one common point: the love of contemporary ceramics in all its forms.

They did not know each other, they had never met and yet...  This exhibition brings together contemporary ceramics from  two leading private French collections and establishes a  dialogue between them. While the two collectors have different professional backgrounds, they both place an emphasis on culture, a culture of connection and sharing, and the universality of the message conveyed by contemporary ceramics. Their collections are eclectic and mostly comprise ceramics in all their varied facets: from pottery, some used in day-to-day life, to sculptural and conceptual ceramics. Both live amidst their works, with the collections providing a backdrop to their lives: for on it is like a huge cabinet of curiosities, while for the other it is laid out more like a real private museum.
