CAMILLE NICOLLE.  À QUOI ÇA TIENT ?

From November 19, 2021 to March 13, 2022, discover the installation-game  What is it all about?  by the artist Camille Nicolle in the museum's small nave!

From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 November 2021, Keramis is hosting the 3rd edition of Brock'n'Roll FACTORY, the designers' market dedicated to the printed image. Many events are added to the event, including ceramic workshops, concerts and an exhibition by French artist Camille Nicolle.

In 2021, to prepare her exhibition, Camille Nicolle took over the Atelier de Keramis in order to imagine and set up the installation "À quoi ça tient ?"

The installation presents a game table whose molded, modeled and printed elements can be manipulated. The handles, inherited from the Boch earthenware factory, form bridges, like possible links between a past activity and stories to come. Paths, coils, drawings, sponges cross them and make up a landscape.

It is a question of form and counterform, of emptiness and fullness, of balance and circulation.
