PIERRE CAILLE. BACK AT KERAMIS

From 21 April to 29 September 2019, Keramis shines a spotlight on the Belgian artist Pierre Caille in a retrospective of his work.

Pierre Caille was invited by Henri van de Velde In 1936 to work at the Boch faience factory. This was where he discovered the art of ceramics that he was to continue practising throughout his career. Following numerous donations by the artist’s family, Keramis is now in possession of the largest collection of his work. Curated by Ludovic Recchia, a selection from this collection and from our archives is presented in the museum’s 20th and  century gallery.
