The work Altus-Fluit, partly produced from a paste made from recovered and moistened porcelain shavings, was created in 2025 as part of a residency conducted between the Centre de Recherche sur les Arts du Feu et de la Terre (CRAFT) and the Musée National Adrien Dubouché for the exhibition The Energies of the Earth. Large superimposed modules, acting as both pillars and foundations, evoke this porcelain city built by stackings, the memory of the multiple chimneys that forged the city's identity, but also geological core samples. The black and white monochrome symbolises the absolute porcelain whiteness upon which the reputation of Limoges was built, and the shapeless, underground material from which it stems, as well as the black of the coal necessary for its production.
