Julie Decubber is the creator of jewellery made from earthenware objects that she recycles, cutting them with extreme precision and assembling them. In 2018, she was invited by Keramis to create jewellery from old plates from the Boch Frères earthenware factory. In 2020, she invited fifteen ceramicists to set aside their chipped earthenware fragments. From these shards, she extracted fifteen pieces of jewellery like fifteen blended portraits. Each of them is imbued with the history of the ceramicist and the creator's intervention on her own material. Tessons Exquis (Exquisite Shards) was exhibited as a whole at the Keramis centre in La Louvière, Belgium (2023-2024) and partly in the exhibition Les Énergies de la terre in Limoges in 2026.
